No your not seeing double, Cloud 9 Balloon Flights is pleased to announce the the introduction of a new balloon to it's fleet.
The brand new Kavanagh 350-352 is considered the Rolls Royce of balloons. State of the art construction techniques result in added comfort, space and safety for passengers. The Cameron burners (the engines) generate more power than other makes, but are much quieter, which adds greatly to the enjoyment of the ballooning experience.
When we dropped around to Kavanagh Balloons to pick up the new aircraft we also managed to take with us one of the Company Directors, Sean Kavangah. Far more valuable and useful than a set of steak knives Sean has come on board to help us with weekend flights over Sydney.
With a couple of Australian Championships and 4th place in the 2005 World Championships, 4 years of passenger flying over the city of Melbourne and confidence that he's flying in a well built balloon you can relax knowing you're in safe hands. And girls, He's single.

When it comes to choosing which balloon company to fly with several factors should be taken into account.
SAFETY 1ST - An impeccable safety record is obviously paramount and with 21 years safe flying experience you can rest assured that you are in the very best hands.
PILOTS - Chief Pilot, John Allen has over the past 21 years logged over 2500 hours in hot air balloons. A 5 year apprenticship flying advertising and passenger ride balloons with Europe's leading balloon operators gives him the knowledge, experience and skill no other Australian pilot can boast of.
Except maybe our second pilot, Sean Kavanagh, who was twice Australian balloon champion and fourth placing at the 2004 World Championships. He very rarely misses his landing target. Add four years flying over Melbourne and you have one of the few pilots in Australia with the necessary skill to carry out the job to the level we expect.
BALLOONS - All balloons operated by Cloud 9 are new or in near new condition. The balloon manufacturer carries out all regular inspections and maintenance. This ensures that our equipment is in absolute 1st Class condition.
CREW - A valuable part of our operation. These are the people that check you in on arrival, drive us all to and from the flight area and assist in balloon operations. Without them the balloon doesn't fly. All our crew have been with us for many years they're experienced drivers who enjoy their work and looking after you.
VEHICLES - Often this is a part of the business that lets many operators down. You will spend a fair amount of your time with us travelling to and from the flight area. With Cloud 9 you will spend it in new, well maintained vehicles, which are both comfortable and suitable for the job they are designed to do.
